Manufactured by Old Romany during the Art Deco era, this authentic vintage fortune cup features the classic symbols and interpretations used in the art of tasseography, also known as tea leaf reading.
The interior of the cup is decorated with images of playing cards, allowing the user to combine the arts of cartomancy (fortune telling with cards) and tasseomancy (tea leaf reading). The day after I got my chrysoprase bracelet I wore it to lunch and got three compliments on it right away. It’s shining with bright intense color and the photo does not show it as well but it is stunning. I apologize for the lighting in the photo. This goes with so many summer colors and probably winter as well. It is gorgeous!
