For your consideration is this utterly fabulous antique Paragon Cup of Knowledge fortune telling tea cup and saucer, dating to approximately 1930. Manufactured by Paragon China of England, both the cup and saucer retain their original maker's marks on the underside. This beautiful peach colored set features hand-painted details on both the cup and saucer, adding to its charm and collectibility.
The Cup of Knowledge was designed for the enduring Victorian and Edwardian fascination with tasseography (also known as tassomancy), the art of reading tea leaves. Unlike many fortune telling cups of the period that relied heavily on playing card imagery, Paragon's version features a beautiful assortment of symbolic illustrations used in divination and tea leaf reading. Around the rim of the cup is the charming inscription, "Many Curious Things I See When Telling Fortunes in Your Tea," adding to the whimsy and appeal of this unique design.
This is a genuine antique example, not a modern reproduction. The cup and saucer are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs noted. The beautiful hand-painted details and transfer designs remain wonderfully preserved, making this a desirable addition to any antique teacup collection, curiosity cabinet, Victorian décor display, or fortune telling collection.
You will receive the exact antique cup and saucer pictured. As with all authentic antiques, minor signs of age and manufacture may be present and are considered part of the piece's history and charm.
Fortune telling cups have been widely reproduced in recent years, but original examples such as this one can be identified by their authentic period maker's marks. Both the cup and saucer bear the original Paragon marks appropriate to the era of production. Reproductions often lack marks entirely or feature altered versions that differ from the originals in spelling, design, or placement.

The bracelet looks really interesting! I like the variation in color and pattern of each beads. It fits my wrist well (size small, 6.5-inch). I enjoy wearing this bracelet.
Mexican Fire Agate (8-mm) Beaded Bracelet. Many of the beads are not quite round. A few have noticeable defects.
I usually request 6.5-inches bracelets. This "7.0-inches" bracelet fits my wrist well. I am glad to have found this bracelet for under $20. Great value overall!

The day after I got my chrysoprase bracelet I wore it to lunch and got three compliments on it right away. It’s shining with bright intense color and the photo does not show it as well but it is stunning. I apologize for the lighting in the photo. This goes with so many summer colors and probably winter as well. It is gorgeous!

The peaceful feeling of this flower agate really comes out in this tumble. It’s very smooth and high polished and goes perfectly with my collection of Temple stones. I love displaying it in my bowl. Absolutely perfect!
