For your consideration are these super gemmy, 100% natural STAR Rose Quartz crystal spheres fromMozambique, sold by the piece. The star effect that is called asterism and is caused by microscopic rutile inclusions aligned in a very particular way. Asterism is an optical illusion created by light reflecting off these rutile inclusions. It can be a little tricky to find the star at first because you have to locate the area of the crystal with the rutile. It is helpful to rock the crystal under direct light until you see a chatoyant line and then you can follow that line to the star. Clear outdoor sunlight or a high powered flashlight are ideal for this. Once you locate the star they will be much easier to find in other types of light.

I purchased this for my birthday and chose a less transparent piece.
As described, the transparency is lower, but the rose quartz has a rich, beautiful pink color, and the star is clearly visible. There was a sticker indicating the star’s position, which made it easy to observe. It also came with a base, so I could enjoy it right away.
I also love the cracks in the more translucent areas, which create a subtle rainbow shimmer.
The email communication was polite and friendly, and when I mentioned it was for my birthday, I received kind wishes. The packaging was very careful, and it arrived safely after more than 10 days of shipping. I was also happy with the heart-shaped stone and sage included.

The item arrived exactly as expected. There was a sticker indicating where the star is most visible, and it even came with a wooden base.
