For your consideration is this utterly fabulous antique Nelros Cup of Knowledge fortune telling tea cup and saucer, dating to approximately 1905. Manufactured by the renowned Aynsley pottery of England, both the cup and saucer retain their original maker’s marks on the underside.
The Nelros Cup of Knowledge was designed for the Victorian and Edwardian fascination with tassomancy (aka tasseography), the art of reading tea leaves. Detailed symbols and interpretations are printed inside the cup, allowing the user to divine fortunes and discover hidden meanings from the patterns left behind after drinking tea.
This is a genuine antique example, not a modern reproduction. The cup and saucer are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs noted. The transfer designs remain beautifully preserved, making this a wonderful addition to any tea cup collection, curiosity cabinet, Victorian décor display, or fortune telling collection.
You will receive the exact antique cup and saucer pictured. As with all authentic antiques, minor signs of age and manufacture may be present and are considered part of the piece’s history and charm.
This particular design has been reproduced extensively in recent years. Modern reproductions will either lack makers marks or copy the original makers mark but they will make some changes to it; either in spelling or design. I haven’t found any blue tiger eye. I really liked until I bought some from the shop. It is very unique, intense with its color, and has a fantastic energy field to it. I absolutely love tumbles, and these small sizes are beautiful. I find when getting tumbles I am able to receive more intense color and high-quality in the stones since it is rare and expensive to find the bigger stones. These are wonderful to buy for yourself or a gift. This is a great piece to have. I absolutely adore these. My photography does not capture the look and give it justice, but it does match the sellers photos and is more beautiful in person.

I got two “baby“ Covellite in my order today. It is one of my favorite stones. I love these two smaller pieces. They feel great to hold, very smooth, yet show the blue and coppery colors in the light. Vibration is very high with the stone. The small stones are perfect for display in small bowls, to put on a pendant, or carry easily in your pocket. These are great for meditation.

This is a really cute fluoride tumble. The color is intense and it has rainbow flashes inside. I just want to stand in the light and move it around. The color is exquisite.
I have loved rainbow obsidian that I have gotten from the shop in the past. I could not wait to get more for gifting. The colors in the stone are beautiful, but I don’t capture it well in a photo. It is more beautiful in person. Intense rainbow colors seen when you move the stone. I believe everyone should have some obsidian and the rainbow ones are a little extra special.
